The Mauritius Digital Promotion Agency, operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation, invites applications from qualified candidates for the following posts:

1. Communication Manager (On Contract)
2. ICT Technician (On Contract)

NOTE TO APPLICANTS:

1. AGE LIMIT: Candidates should not have reached their 50th birthday by the closing date for the submission of applications.

2. Applicants should possess and submit all certificates /qualifications/ testimonials at the time of application.

3. The onus for the submission of equivalence of qualification (if applicable) from the relevant authorities rests on the candidate.

4. The title of the post applied should be clearly marked on the top left hand corner of the envelope.

5. Application letters received after the closing date and time will not be accepted.

6. Selected candidates would be required to provide evidence of their character certificate during interview.

3.      Freelance Digital Support Officers – Expression of Interest  -> Click here to View / Download Duties & Requisites (Scheme of Service) The Mauritius Digital Promotion Agency operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Information Technology Communication and Innovation is implementing Assisted Digital Access Scheme pillar 2, action 2 of ICT Blueprint to handhold those who are at the highest risk of exclusion.

The MDPA is inviting expression of interest from candidates possessing the required qualifications and who wish to form part of a pool of freelance Digital support Officers to deliver basic digital skills support.

Candidates should:

a)   Be above 18 years of age and holder of HSC/ GCE A Levels with Computer Studies as main subject or as subsidiary. HSC or GCE A levels with Computer studies at SC level together with a certificate or Diploma in ICT/ ICT-related fields from a recognised institution or hold an equivalent qualification acceptable to the Board will be a plus.

b)   Have excellent communication skills and ability to deliver face-to-face training to a varied audience.

c)   Be willing to work during weekends.

d)   Submit copies of NIC, academic and previous employment testimonials if any.

e)   If selected produce “Certificate of character” prior to start basic digital skills support.

 

Retired teachers/ individuals with the above qualifications may also consider joining as freelance digital support trainers for this national initiative.
