MDPA Promotes Digital Sustainability to Mark \u2018IT Day\u2019<\/strong><\/h4>

The Mauritius Digital Promotion Agency (MDPA) proudly participated in the Community Digital Empowerment \u2018IT Day\u2019<\/strong> held on Saturday, 31st May 2025<\/strong> at Coeur De Ville, Flacq<\/strong>.<\/p>

The event brought together community members, youth, and partners to explore the transformative power of technology at the grassroots level. MDPA highlighted initiatives, which focuses on giving a second life to refurbished computers and laptops. This initiative not only supports education, NGOs, and small businesses, but also contributes significantly to reducing electronic waste<\/strong> and promoting digital sustainability<\/strong>.<\/p>

By encouraging the reuse of digital equipment, the programme exemplifies a circular economy approach to technology ensuring that innovation goes hand in hand with environmental responsibility.<\/p>
