NOTE TO APPLICANTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. AGE LIMIT: <\/strong>Candidates should not have reached their 50th<\/sup> birthday by the closing date for the submission of applications.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Applicants should possess and submit all certificates \/qualifications\/ testimonials at the time of application.<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> The onus for the submission of equivalence of qualification (if applicable) from the relevant authorities rests on the candidate.<\/p>\n

The MDPA is inviting expression of interest from candidates possessing the required qualifications and who wish to form part of a pool of freelance Digital support Officers to deliver basic digital skills support<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Candidates should:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

a)\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Be above 18 years of age and holder of HSC\/ GCE A Levels with Computer Studies as main subject or as subsidiary. HSC or GCE A levels with Computer studies at SC level together with a <\/span>certificate or Diploma in ICT\/ ICT-related fields from a recognised institution or hold an equivalent qualification acceptable to the Board will be a plus.<\/span><\/p>\n

b)\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Have excellent communication skills and ability to deliver face-to-face training to a varied audience. <\/span><\/p>\n

c)\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Be willing to work during weekends.<\/span><\/p>\n

d)\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Submit copies of NIC, academic and previous employment testimonials if any. <\/span><\/p>\n

e)\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>If selected produce \u201cCertificate of character\u201d prior to start basic digital skills support.<\/span><\/p>\n

Retired teachers\/ individuals with the above qualifications may also consider joining as freelance digital support trainers for this national initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n\n
